The Pedagogies of Community-Engagement Collective (PeCEC) is a community-based research project created to explore, generate, and share knowledge about facilitation practices that support community-engaged work across different sectors. Our project was inspired by a deep desire to explore and share knowledge about facilitation practices that support community-engaged work as a way to advance social justice.

This website – featuring several resources including a Facilitators’ Guide to Community Engagement, podcasts, videos, and collage reflection prompts – was developed as part of a 3 year project funded by the Spencer Foundation that brought together dozens of community organizations, academic institutions, and individual facilitators, including Righting Relations Canada. All of the resources are geared towards folks doing community-engaged work in any sector and with any amount of experience. Everyone from seasoned to brand new facilitators is welcome!
