Contribute now to the Resistance Stories Zine, Vol. 2!
We're looking for artwork, writing, collages, songs, and more to create a zine amplifying stories of resistance and resilience!

We are excited to announce a call out for submissions to our second issue of the Resistance Stories Zine! This edition will focus on amplifying stories of resistance, resilience and growth
connected to our Social Justice and Equity Change Labs.
We are looking for submissions of art, music, poetry, essays, microfiction, songs, playlists, videos, collage, etc. that resonate with or are inspired by the following themes:
- 2SLGBTQIA +
- Anti-ableism and Accessibility
- Anti-oppression
- Gender-based Violence
- Non-profit Solutions
- Strengthening Indigenous Women’s Leadership
- Strengthening Men and Boy’s Leadership
Our hope is that this edition of the Zine will be a rich tapestry of experiences that reflect our shared journeys and triumphs. So please join us in amplifying these essential narratives. You can submit your piece by email at Maven@rightingrelations.org. We’re offering a $50 honorarium for each published contributor. There is no minimum word count, though we do ask that the maximum word count not exceed 1000 words. See other Righting Relations Zines here!
Please note, depending on the number of entries, not all submissions may be published; in this case, decisions will be based on connection to the theme and our goal of amplifying marginalized voices within Righting Relations. We’d like to thank Women and Gender Equality Canada for supporting this project.
