Every system of supremacy and dominance creates fragility in the people who benefit from that system: while they benefit materially, they’re being harmed spiritually. In this episode of Righting Relations Radio, host Rehana Tejpar interviews Jon McPhedran Waitzer.
Jon works with the Resource Movement, which mobilizes young people with class privilege to share land, wealth and power. This work means recognizing the myths of meritocracy and capitalist supremacy that hold up our society. In this conversation, we talk about healing the wounds of capitalist colonialism, the importance of self-work, and how we can dismantle notions of supremacy while reclaiming our dignity and joy.
